It starts with wine painting parties and kale salads. Then, before you know it, tech geeks are building blockchains in a swanky old theater. Get ready, Cheyenne. The hipsters are taking over downtown. Which is ok, because we weren't really using it.

These days, there's a new energy in the air. You can feel it. Slowly but surely, young, creative, artistic entrepreneurs are establishing a footprint. Soon, they will turn the historic corridor into an eclave of bicycle repair shops, beer yoga classes, organic pet food and thrift store fashion.

As this cultural shift gradually occurs, many will retreat to the relative comfort of their favorite chain stores on Dell Range. They will complain to each other that Cheyenne is turning into Fort Collins over lentil quinao bowls at Panera Bread. And they will be right.

Then, the hipsters will add insult to injury and start wearing cowboy hats. And make no mistake, it's going to happen. There's only one way to prepare for this generational gentrification and that's by watching videos of cats spinning records.
