Wyoming Governor Matt Mead has ordered the Wyoming State flag to be flown at half-staff on Monday at the State Capitol in Cheyenne and in Sheridan County.

The order was issued to honor former State Legislator Tom Kinnison, who passed away on Sunday in Sheridan after a battle with cancer.

Kinnison was a Republican lawmaker who served in the Wyoming House from 1979 to 1982 and in the Wyoming Senate from 1983 to 1986 and again from 1989 to 2002.
