Wyoming Governor Applauds President's Supreme Court Choice

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead on Tuesday released a statement in support of President Trump's nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court:

'Like Judge Gorsuch who came from our own 10th Circuit, Judge Kavanaugh is an outstanding jurist. His record on the bench, his long public service career, and his volunteer work in the community are all impressive. Judge Kavanaugh will be a fine addition to the U.S. Supreme Court and my hope is that the confirmation process is completed without delay."

The president on Monday announced his choice of Judge Brett Kavanaugh of the United State Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia as his choice to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Kavanaugh must be confirmed by the U.S. Senate before assuming his place on the high court
