Wyoming Governor Matt Mead has signed one of the last two bills approved by Wyoming lawmakers during the recent budget session into law.

The governor signed off on House Bill 194, the capital construction bill, on Monday afternoon. Lawmakers were unable to agree on a final version of HB 194 in time to wrap up the 2018 legislative session by midnight on Saturday, which had oriiginally been planned as the last day of the session.

The had the same problem coming to a final agreement on House Bill 140, school funding, before the deadline forcing the session into last week.

Both houses of the legislature were able to finalize both bills on Thursday evening.
