
Much Of Southeast Wyoming Facing Heat Advisory This Weekend
After several days of wet weather and scattered storms, southeast Wyoming can expect record-to-near-record heat over the next few days
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:
A hot weekend is in the cards as a strong upper level ridge builds over the area. Some locations could get near or meet daily record temperatures. Mostly sunny and dry conditions will prevail with this heat.
Today and through the weekend will be hot and dry! Temperature will be in the 80's and 90's today but will climb into the 90's and 100's this weekend. Humidity levels will be between 10 and 20 percent in the afternoon prompting a Fire Weather watch and Heat advisory this weekend! Make sure to stay Hydrated and eat snacks to prevent heat injuries!
