The Buffalo Bills will host the Tennessee Titans at 7:15 pm tonight at Highmark Stadium. The game marks the Bills home opener and the second straight prime time game to open the 2022 regular season.

The Bills have played more prime time games in the last three seasons than they have in the previous 10 seasons combined, and it's all because of their great roster, led by quarterback Josh Allen.

Allen has not only stepped up since the 2020 season to play fantastic most weeks, but he has played even better under the national spotlights.

Allen's play has been nothing short of incredible when he's on prime time. There's no better example of the two postseason games from January, which is statistically the best two-game stretch of any NFL quarterback in history.

According to longtime reporter Jerry Sullivan, Allen's compiled a 68 percent completion percentage and has thrown for 41 touchdowns to just seven interceptions in his 15 prime time games.

Allen's best games have all been in prime time.

The two Thanksgiving games against Dallas (2019) and New Orleans (2021); the San Francisco game in Arizona (2020), the New England playoff game at home (2022).

Even in prime time games that the Bills have lost, Allen has played amazing. That includes last year's MNF game in Nashville against the Titans and certainly the AFC Divisional game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Allen was overly scrutinized by the national media and draft experts coming out of Wyoming, but he has not only proven to be great at the NFL level, he steps up in the biggest moments and for the most important games.
