Laramie County Emergency Management officials say that while they are watching local streams for any possible flooding, there are no immediate concerns in that regard so far.

After being contacted by Townsquare Media of Cheyenne on Wednesday morning, the agency released the following statement:

''We have been in touch with the NWS and at this time the major concern in this region is for Nebraska. Laramie County could see a rise in our creeks due to warming temperatures and regular annual runoff however, at this time we do not see this as an issue. We will continue to monitor the creeks and streams through NWS and other partners. We stay in close contact with our counterparts in other counties and rely on them for situational awareness as to what we can expect in Laramie County."
