Mary’s Mountain Cookies To Open Shop In Downtown Cheyenne
Downtown Cheyenne just got a little sweeter. Mary's Mountain Cookies, the popular Fort Collins-based cookie and ice cream chain, will open a new shop this spring at 315 West Lincolnway.
Mary's makes a variety of gourmet cookies and is known for their ice-cream cookies and low-carb keto cookies along with gift baskets and seasonal treats. They also offer delivery service.
The bakery began on a Colorado dude ranch, then expanded to a retail shop in Fort Collins. They now have two Fort Collins locations, along with franchises in Broomfield, Loveland, Belton, Mo., and Missoula, Mont. The Cheyenne store will be their first in Wyoming.
Founder Mary Johns recently published the autobiography and cookbook "Wishes", which recounts her journey from a Michigan mom to entrepreneur and CEO, along with her favorite recipes.
Renovations are currently underway in the building, which was most recently occupied by Dormouse Paint Studio. Mary's has not announced an official date for their grand opening, but a Facebook post promises that the cookies will be coming soon.
