The third in a series of community meetings held by Cheyenne Mayor Marian Orr has been re-scheduled from this coming Sunday, November 3 to one week later.

The Ward 1 meeting will now be held on Sunday, November 10 from 12noon until 1:30 p.m. at the Kiwanis Community House.

The event is free and open to the public.

It will kick off with 30 minutes of fellowship, followed by a 30-minute update on ''What's Happening In Your Ward." The final half-hour or so will be devoted to a question and answer session.

Previous meetings in the series were held at the Amvets Post 10 on Sept. 30 and the Cheyenne Regional Airport on Oct. 16 The fourth, and final meeting will be a community-wide wrap-up and findings meeting. It is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the Public Safety Center (415 W. 18th) from 5:30 until 7 p.m.

Mayor Orr announced the series of meetings in August, billing them as the ''Kicking Rocks and Clearing the Path to Progress -- Cheyenne Vision 2020'' meeting series.
