Be sure to check the forecast first, the National Weather Service has issued the following Winter Weather Advisory for Thursday at 11 a.m. through Friday at 11 a.m. for parts of southeastern Wyoming:
URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHEYENNE WY 112 PM MST WED JAN 6 2016 ...WIDESPREAD SNOW ACROSS SOUTHEAST WYOMING BEGINNING THURSDAY... .TEMPERATURES THURSDAY WILL BE COLD ENOUGH TO PRODUCE WIDESPREAD SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ACROSS SOUTHEAST WYOMING. PACIFIC MOISTURE WILL MOVE IN FROM THE SOUTHWEST THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY. THE HIGHEST SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE IN THE SNOWY AND SIERRA MADRES AS WELL AS THE SOUTHERN LARAMIE RANGE. TRAVEL COULD BE IMPACTED ALONG I80 BETWEEN CHEYENNE AND RAWLINS.
