There's a new food truck on the streets in Cheyenne; Fat Howard's Chili Company just went mobile and will be rolling into the Captial City this spring and summer.

Owner Michelle Dallas named the company after her great grandfather Walter Howard Dodge. Grandpa Howard loved chili and passed down a passion for food to his grandson Mike Howard Dallas, who passed it down his daughter Michelle. Over the years, Mike and Michelle created and refined their own recipes and began competing at chili cook-offs around the region. In 2018, they went into business together, selling spice blends at the Cheyenne Farmer's Market and online. Their samples were so popular, the next step was to buy a food truck and expand.

Along with their signature red chili, pork green chili, and white chicken chili, Fat Howard's will also serve breakfast burritos, burgers, quesadillas, tacos, and a variety of sandwiches. Their pork green chili recently took third place at the 11th Annual Cheyenne Chili Challenge. Last year, they took second place for green chili and fifth place for red chili at the renowned Chile Championship in Red River, New Mexico.

The Fat Howard's food truck will be at Danielmark's Brewery May 3rd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 31st. They will also be at the Pine Bluffs Distilling Company's Derby Day Corgi Races on Saturday, May 4th.
