Oh, Look: There’s a Free Mobile Home in Alcova, Wyoming
It's nearly 40 years old, but if you like the looks of her, there's a free mobile home in Alcova, Wyoming.
I spotted this classic beauty on Wyoming Craigslist. According to the listing, it's a 1980 Tamarack mobile home.
In case you can't read the small print, here are the details of how this can be yours:
1980 Tamarack mobile home for FREE. You haul. Comes with furnace and stove. Axels and wheels included. Dimensions 14 x 56 with hitch. Two bedrooms 1 bath. Located near Alcova, Wyoming. Some furniture not included.
If you've never researched this type of thing, paying someone to move a mobile home can get pricey. Moving.com estimates the cost between $5,000 and $8,000. But, in Wyoming, we tend to have friends with ninja moving skills that would probably do it for a nice cold drink and dinner at the end of the day. If that's you, you could do a lot worse than a free mobile home.
Alcova is a very short 40 minute drive from Casper for most of us. Check out the full listing for more details.
