A recent poll of district employees in the Campbell County School District found widespread support for allowing teachers and other district employees to carry concealed firearms.

So far two Wyoming school districts, in Evanston and Cody, allow districts to carry concealed weapons. This comes after the Wyoming Legislature a few years ago gave school districts to right to allow employees to carry concealed weapons if they choose to do so.

So this week's question in our weekly online poll deals with whether you would like to see teachers and staff in Laramie County School District#1 to carry concealed weapons. To be clear, the question is hypothetical at this point, since to our knowledge no such proposal is in the works in the district.

But just to find out how people would feel about such an idea, take our survey and give us your opinion. We'll publish the results of our online survey on Monday, June 10.
