The Red Hot Chili Peppers are heating things up this Summer by releasing their 10th studio album at the end of August.

The southern California band is back working with producer Rick Rubin who has been at the helm for their Blood Sugar Sex Magik album in 1991, One Hot Minute in 1995, 1999's Californication, By The Way released in 2002 and their latest release in 2006 Stadium Arcadium.

"I'm With You" will hit stores August 30.  The minimalist cover art is by Damien Hirst out of Britain and seems to be a commentary on addictions to prescription drugs.

Last year guitarist John Frusciante left the band and he has been replaced by longtime guitar tech Josh Klinghoffer. The 31-year-old has recorded and toured with Gnarles Barkley, PF Harvey, Beck and the Butthole Surfers. The rest of the line up remains the same, Anthony Kiedis providing lead vocals, Flea playing bass and Chad Smith on drums.

The debut single from the new album will be called "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" and is scheduled for a July 18th release, listen for it on Your Sunday Brunch.
