Blood Moon

If you're up at the right time you might even catch a yellow, orange, or perhaps a blood-red moon.

Well, this is an interesting time for a "Blood Moon", having it on Election Day for the first time ever. Is that a sign of something, or just dumb luck?

Wyoming photographer Dave Porter took some incredible shots of the blood moon on Sunday and he shared them with K2 Radio News.

If you're a fan of sky phenomena, you'll want to mark your calendar for later this spring when a total lunar eclipse will be visible over Wyoming.

It shows up as just a small bust of light, barely perceptible, but it matches NASA's definitions of what a rock hitting the moon would look like
