The Holidays in 2020 Will Fall on Ideal Days of the Week
The holiday game in 2020 is #Goals.
We're getting ready to kick off a brand new year in just a few weeks. With the year 2020 on the horizon, I thought I'd take a peek at what our big holidays will look like. After the big petition to change the date of Halloween from October 31 to the last Saturday of the month, I figured it would be fun to look into the future. I mean, I do it for my birthday, I might as well make it useful for everyone.
As it turns out, 2020 will be nothing less than stellar. Scrolling through the months, I found that most of the big holidays that fall on a date are landing on ideal days of the week. Most holidays would be most useful on a Friday since we would have the entire weekend to celebrate and would most likely get a three-day weekend out of it.
Take a look...
Valentine's Day: Friday, February 14
Cinco de Mayo: Tuesday, May 5 (it's not a Friday, but it is Taco Tuesday)
Fourth of July: Saturday, July 4 (the holiday will be observed on Friday, July 3 which means a three-day weekend)
Halloween: Saturday, October 31
Christmas: Friday, December 25 (this means a three-day weekend and if you boss counts Christmas Eve, a four-day weekend)
New Years Day: Friday, January 1 (this means a three-day weekend)
Other fun facts about 2020...
It's the start of a new decade
It's a leap year
There will be two Friday the 13ths (March and November)
