These Are the Best Places to Have a Baby… Besides Chick-fil-A
You may not receive free Chick-fil-A for life, but these states are considered the best to give birth in.
Despite what you may think, giving birth to a baby in a place other than the one you planned on is probably pretty dramatic. We may romanticize the idea of receiving free food from Chick-fil-A for life after having a baby in one of their bathrooms, but have you thought of how scary that might actually be? Not to mention, unsanitary for all parties involved.
We've seen two births involving Chick-fil-A in the last month, one in Texas and one in Georgia.
It doesn't sound like either of these deliveries was expected. If you do have time to plan, you may want to try to have a baby in one of these states. WalletHub has put out a list of the best states to give birth in. This list is based on more than location or hospitals. The financial website looked at health care, delivery charges, infant-care costs, pediatricians and more.
And before you even ask... No, the number one state on this list does not have a Chick-fil-A location.
