The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of Wyoming that include the cities of Cheyenne, Pine Bluffs, and Wheatland.

"Snow and Blowing snow. Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph after midnight."

A High Wind Warning is also in effect.

* WHERE...Laramie County, eastern Platte County, and the
  southwestern Nebraska panhandle.

* WHEN...Until 2 AM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be hazardous due to icy and snowpacked
  roads and low visibilities in falling and blowing snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Significant blowing snow is expected after
  midnight with visibilities below 1 mile. Periods of snow are
  expected through the day on Saturday with strong winds.
