Wyoming Ghost Hunters Investigate The Historic Occidental Hotel [VIDEO]
Just in time for Friday the 13th, the Wyoming Area Spirit Posse has released a new video. Their latest adventure is a paranormal investigation at the historic Occidental Hotel in Buffalo, Wyo.
The former bordello is reportedly haunted by the daughter of a prostitute who died on the upper floor. Her ghost has long dark hair, wears a white dress and has been heard moving furniture and make strange noises. For over a century, the Occidental has been considered among the most haunted places in Wyoming.
Set at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains near the old Bozeman Trail, the historic landmark has hosted weary travelers since 1880. Over the years, many celebrities have visited, including Buffalo Bill Cody, Calamity Jane, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Tom Horn, Ernest Hemingway and two United States Presidents, Theodore Roosevelt and Herbert Hoover.
The inquest was conducted by a group of local ghost hunters. In the past several years, they have traveled across the state filming investigations at the Irma Hotel in Cody, The Historic Hotel in Greybull, the Heart Mountain Relocation Camp, and several haunted cemeteries.
