Independence Day is upon us. This is a time when people show their patriotism, waving flags and wearing red, white and blue. But where does Wyoming rank nationally? Wallethub.com recently to a look at the best Independence Day destinations in the country, based on their patriotism, volunteers, residents who voted and veterans. There were some other factors involved which brought them to their conclusions.

Patriotism in Wyoming ranks 1= Most and 25= Average.

  • Number of Active-Duty Military Personnel per 100,000 residents - 14th
  • Number of Peace Corps Volunteers per 100,000 residents - 21st
  • % of Residents who voted in the most recent Presidential Election - 27th
  • Volunteer Rate - 20th
  • Number of Veterans per 100,000 residents - 10th
  • Civics Education Requirement - 22nd
