Northern Lights Seen in Wyoming After Intense Solar Storm

Have you noticed a hint of a greenish glow in the night sky?

Mother Nature's getting ready for St. Patty's Day next weekend as an intense solar storm this week has produced spectacular Auroras in the Northern and Southern hemispheres.

Sightings were reported this week in Washington, Michigan, Wisconsin, Montana, North Dakota and even Wyoming. An anonymous observer from the 'Cowboy State' wrote, "very diffuse greenish glow" in the skies over Wyoming.

Stop The Presses! Grateful Mike Tweets For First Time

Grateful Mike's merging onto the 'Information Superhighway,' look out.

Do you tweet? Last weekend I sent out my very first tweets and it felt kind of like cranking up the old Model T Ford and sputtering onto a giant 6-lane highway.

Luckily my daughter was home to help with some of my questions. I will admit, it was addicting, Emily warned me it was hard to quit once you start.

Hippieman and Grateful Mike; Long Lost Brothers?

Were you part of the crowd at last week's Friday Night Live Comedy Show?

I escaped from the radio station long enough to catch the end of Hippieman's set, who would have thought there would have been two long-haired freaks hanging out at the Historic Atlas Theatre on a cold February Friday.

Hippieman, whose real name is John Novosad, looked like he could have been my long lost older brother. His comedy was hilarious as were his responses to the hecklers in the crowd.
