Congratulations to the East High Lady T-Birds on making it to the championship game!

At the State High School Basketball Tournament in Casper Friday, March 8, the girl's from East High School in Cheyenne defeated Sheridan 54-39. The Lady Thunderbirds will now face Gillette for the State High School Basketball Championship on Saturday, March 9, in the Casper Events Center with the tip off around 5 p.m.

The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players are showing 'Young Frankenstein' on the big screen downtown as part of their Movies At The Atlas series.

Costumes are encouraged at the screening Saturday night, March 9, at 7 at the Atlas Theatre, 211 West Lincolnway. Tickets are $5 and you can purchase them ahead of time at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse at Windmill and Pershing weekdays noon to 5. The Atlas Theatre box office will open an hour before showtime.

This Saturday, March 9, the Ogden Theatre in Denver presents the Alabama Shakes along with Michael Kiwanuka, Sam Doores and Riley Downing. This show has sold out. The Alabama Shakes are also part of the line up of the 9th Annual Targhee Music Festival in Alta, Wyoming July 19 through 21.
