What shows are you planning to see on this first week of October?

There are still lots of bands coming through our area including the Eagles bringing 'The History of the Eagles' tour to the Pepsi Center on Saturday, October 5.There's still time to join the Open Mic Night Jam with Jimmy McGuire of Second Opinion at The Midtown Tavern until at least 10 tonight, October 1. All players get $1 beers and their happy hour specials are extended until then. At The Midtown Tavern, also known as Anderson's Other Corner at 1303 East Pershing Boulevard, they have Southern Fryed playing a free show starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 4.

Blue October, the band from Houston, Texas, play the Ogden Theatre in Denver on Thursday, October 3, with Unlikely Candidates and Tori Vasquez. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

The Family Values Tour hits the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado on Saturday, October 5, featuring Korn, Hollywood Undead and Machine Gun Kelly. The concert begins at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m.
