Tuesday night was the PBR Velocity / CBR Finals at this year's Cheyenne Frontier Days.

After two full exciting nights of bull riding concluded, the CBR (Championship Bull Riding) crowned Cody Jesus of Window Rock, Arizona its 2018 Champion and Silvano Alves of Brazil the event winner.

The event marked the first and only time in history that top CBR and PBR riders competed head-to-head as 30 of the top PBR riders competed this past Monday in a long round and 15 in the championship round for PBR world points.

This is also the first time since 2010 that PBR is back at the “Daddy of ‘em All,” Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Luckily the weather was much better for the final on Tuesday as Monday the weather was not as nice and rain created a big mud mess on the arena floor.

Like in past years, spectators were treated to the fireworks show at the conclusion of the event marking the end of the 2018 season for the CBR.
