Donald ‘Duck’ Dunn Remembered as Legendary Stax Session Bassist [VIDEO]

Legendary bass player, Donald 'Duck' Dunn, died in his sleep on Sunday, May 13, while on tour in Tokyo, Japan, he was 70.

Dunn formed The Royal Spades as a teenager, they later became The Mar-Keys. When fellow band member Steve Cropper left the band, the 'Duck' followed and they both became members of the Stax Record label's backup band, Booker T. & the MG's.

Men At Work Multi-Instrumentalist Greg Ham Found Dead at 58 [VIDEO]

The man playing the saxophone at the beginning of Men At Work's 'Who Can It Be Now' video, Greg Ham, was found dead at his home in Melbourne, Australia yesterday, April 19, he was 58.

Authorities have now determined his death was non-suspicious. His body was discovered Thursday when friends went to check on him.

Ham played flute, saxophone and keyboards in the iconic Australian group, which had a global smash in the early '80s with 'Down Under.' He was a constant, energetic presence for the group, and perhaps its most recognizable member aside from frontman Colin Hay.

Levon Helm, Drummer for the Band, Dies at 71 [VIDEO]

One of music's best singing drummers has passed away.

Levon Helm died April 19 at the age of 71 after a battle with cancer. He was drummer and vocalist for the Band who backed up Bob Dylan during his 1965 and 1966 tours.

Helm was also part of the first Ringo Starr All Starr Band in 1989 along with Clarence Clemons, Dr. John, Rick Danko (his Band-mate), Joe Walsh, Nils Lofgren, Billy Preston, Jim Keltner and of course Ringo Starr.

In recent years, Levon Helm won 3 Grammy Awards;

-Best Traditional Folk Album for 'Dirt Farmer' in 2007

-Best Americana Album for 'Electric Dirt' in 2009

-Best American Album for 'Ramble At The Ryman' in 2011

Earl Scruggs, Legendary Banjo Player, Dies at 88 [VIDEO]

Have you heard 'Foggy Mountain Breakdown' or 'The Ballad of Jed Clampett'?

That's Earl Scruggs playing the banjo with his long-time partner Lester Flatt. Scruggs died on Wednesday, March 28, in a Nashville, Tennessee hospital at the age of 88.

Scruggs pioneered the three-finger style of playing that helped popularize the banjo as a lead instrument.
