One of Cheyenne's busier intersections will see some changes starting in April, leading up to the eventual installation of a roundabout.

The City of Cheyenne issued this statement yesterday on changes at the intersection of Prairie Avenue and Frontier Mall Drive:

"Beginning Monday, April 1st, the Prairie Avenue and Frontier Mall Drive intersection will become a four-way stop controlled intersection. Frontier Mall Drive currently must stop but Prairie Avenue doesn’t have to stop. Frontier Mall Drive will remain the same as a stop sign controlled street. On April 1st, all lanes of Prairie Avenue must stop. There will be minor traffic control with the installation of bollards and signs. This four-way stop will remain in effect until construction begins late this summer on a roundabout at this intersection."
