Cheyenne Military Planes Executing Headwind Tests This Week
Making the best of the weather, Cheyenne pilots are taking advantage of something we have had plenty of this week, wind.
In particular, a Boeing KC-46 Pegasus preformed headwind autoland tests in Cheyenne Tuesday morning. The Pegasus' largest use is as a refueling and transport aircraft for the United States Air Force. The first "combat-ready" KC-46's are expected to be used by the Air Force in 2018.
