The forecast for Cheyenne included a possibility of the first snowflakes of the season but as of 6am Thursday, October 06, 2016, it’s just rain falling. The 38° keeps snow at bay in town, and the WYDOT road conditions show wet with rain and wet with fog.

Don Day's forecast calls for snow showers and flurries around the capitol city this morning on westward. Rain showers east and south. Mid to upper 40s today.

The first annual snowfall in Cheyenne averages to November 7 and this year may be on track, maybe.

Off to the western part of Wyoming, conditions are mostly dry, except for Jackson. In Colorado, they are getting some snow in the foothills and west of there above 8,999 feet.
