Are you trying to eat healthier in 2015?

A great way to begin eating food that's better for you is to shop at the local farmer's markets and there's one inside the Cheyenne Depot on Saturday, February 7.

During the winter, farmers markets are held on the first Saturday of each month inside the historic train depot downtown from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market features producers from all around the tri-state region.

Here's a list of some of the products you can expect to find at this month's farmer's market:

  • farm fresh eggs
  • local winter vegetables
  • grass-fed beef, lamb and bison
  • goat and sheep cheese
  • locally produced jam

They'll also have live music inside the Depot and lots more products for sale. Get out and support your local producers. The next Cheyenne Winter Farmers Market is scheduled for March 7.
