Johnson’s Corner Presents Bluegrass Gospel the Second Sunday of Each Month
Have you ever tried a cinnamon roll from Johnson's Corner?
The historic truck stop, off I-25 at Johnstown, not only serves up great food, they also have Bluegrass Gospel music on the second Sunday of each month.
Johnson's Corner opened in 1952 as a convenient stop between Cheyenne and Denver. They offer auto services like gas and oil plus food including their world famous cinnamon rolls.
We recently stopped by and enjoyed our delicious treats with some old-timey ambiance. On the second Sunday of each month, Johnson's Corner has Bluegrass Gospel in their banquet room. Musicians are invited to join in playing many traditional hymns.
Great gospel songs like 'How Great Thou Art' and 'Will The Circle Be Unbroken' could be overheard in the restaurant areas. It was like a trip back in time.
And if you're looking for Sunday church services, the Johnson's Corner Chapel is just around the corner in the back.
