Want to hear some great guitar riffs? There's a lot of live entertainment to take in around our area this weekend.

The Midtown Tavern, also known as Anderson's Other Corner at 1303 East Pershing Boulevard, welcome Southern Fryed at 8 on Friday night, March 29, and there's no cover charge.

The local band will be stopping by the KING studio before heading to the show. Southern Fryed is made up of Russ Brown, Andy Woods, Bill Baily and Jeff Gapter. For tonight's show, Chris Hoover will fill in for Andy on bass guitar.

In downtown Cheyenne, Tattooed Strings play Friday in the Hynds 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. for $5 in the Hynds Building. 15 and under get in for free.

At Sanford's Pub and Grub, 115 East 17th Street, Keith 'Boxcar' Blaney entertains 7 until 10 p.m. with no cover charge.

Arlo Guthrie pays tribute to his father Woody Guthrie at the Boulder Theater on Friday night and for Talking Head fans, This Must Be The Band will rock the Aggie Theatre in Ft Collins March 29.

In Denver, the Dark Star Orchestra perform Grateful Dead music at the Ogden Theatre and Leftover Salmon play the Bluebird Theater on Friday and Saturday nights, March 29 and 30.

If you're in the mood for some reggae, Toots and the Maytals will be at the Aggie Theatre in Ft Collins on Saturday, March 30.
