How would you like to see a blues legend perform?

Buddy Guy is touring with George Thorogood and The Destroyers and they'll play at Red Rocks Amphitheatre tonight, August 28, in Morrison, Colorado with opening act Quinn Sullivan. The show starts at 7 p.m.Over Labor Day weekend there's lots of live acts to catch performing in the area. The annual Snowy Range Music Festival kicks off with Canned Heat on Friday, August 30, at the Albany County Fairgrounds in Laramie. Other acts playing include Leftover Salmon, A. J. Croce and Wyoming favorites Jalan Crossland, Blinddog Smokin' and Taylor Scott with Erica Brown.

The Midtown Tavern has the Black, White Rhythm & Blues Band beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 30, and there's no cover charge. We'll try to have members of the band at the KING studio Friday afternoon for a preview.

Fridays on the Plaza presents BeatGrass from 5:30 to 8 p.m. for free on the Depot Plaza on August 30. Food and drinks, including beer, will be available for purchase.

Also in downtown Cheyenne on Friday, August 30, George Ball entertains at Sanford's Pub and Grub, 115 East 17th Street, beginning at 7 p.m. and there's no charge.

Second Opinion will play at The Crown Bar, on the corner of Carey Avenue and West Lincolnway, on Friday, August 30.

The Rat Salad show at The Drunken Skunk scheduled for Friday, August 30, has been cancelled.

Scott Rupe plays at the Steamboat Steak and Smoke House, 1947 Dell Range Boulevard, at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 30, and there's no cover charge.

Phish will be performing 3 concerts at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado Friday through Sunday, August 30, 31 and September 1. Show times are at 7:30 p.m. all three nights.
