Have you ever coached a little league team?

Laramie County Community College presents 'Rounding Third,' a two-person comedy about a Little League season told from a pair of coaches' perspective.

'Rounding Third' will be performed at the LCCC Playhouse Thursday through Sunday, November 12 through 14 and November 19 through 21. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. and the cost is $10 for the general public and the play is free for LCCC students. For ticket reservations or more information, call 432-1626.

The play was written by Richard Dresser and is about two fathers who coach their son's Little League team. Don is old school and thinks baseball is about winners and losers and he want to keep his players from becoming losers. Michael believes sports are about building confidence and having fun, a place where everyone can be a winner.

Although the two men have different ways of coaching, they find a way to form an uneasy alliance over the course of the season. The local actors in the play are Nick Wood as Don and Daniel Johnson as Michael.

Currently, a movie version of Dresser's play is being filmed in Tennessee with the actors John C. McGinley and Garrett Dillahunt portraying the two coaches.
