As part of its action plan following an investigation into bullying and harassment complaints at McCormick Junior High SchoolLaramie County School District 1 is hosting a community meeting to address tolerance and cultural proficiency.

The meeting will be held tomorrow, May 23, from 6-9 p.m. in Storey Gym, and will be facilitated by the U.S. Department of Justice-Community Relations Service.

"Community members are invited to attend and participate in small-group discussions," said LCSD1 spokeswoman Mary Quast.  "The event is being held to increase education efforts regarding tolerance throughout Cheyenne.​​"

The school district initiated an investigation after anti-gay, racist flyers were posted at McCormick on March 27.
