Winter Hack – Clearing Driveway with Table

Winter is finally showing itself, and it is not the last we are going to see of the fluffy white stuff.

Our friends at News Talk KGVO recently talked with Meteorologist LeeAnn Allegretto about the current snowpack in western Montana.

"the Flathead the Upper Clark Fork and the Bitterroot regions are now above 100 percent for snowpack,” she said. “They're still continuing to add to that snowpack currently, for instance, as we're doing this recording, it's still snowing. The Kootenai and the Lower Clark Fork, and the area is right up against the Idaho border, just to our north are at 90 percent and 93 percent.”

Bottom line, snow has arrived and odds are it isn't going anyway, unless you remove it yourself. As magical as snow is, the chore of clearing it is a pain. There are plenty of ways to clear your drive way and walk ways. We have seen everything from classic shovels and scoops to even modified flame throwers. I have even tried to dream up a way to turn my leaf blower into a giant hair dryer. But, I kept setting fire to my work bench. So needless to say, I haven't gotten it patented yet. If you are smart about how you remove it, you can clear it up in a jiffy.

Next time there is a light accumulation of powder, whip out the card table and get to work. It is important that you get to work on this shortly after the snow fall. Before it accumulates too much and before it freezes to your driveway. But, as you will see in the following video. This hack clears snow in a snap.
