Wyoming Lift Ticket Prices Actually Down [VIDEO]

Have you given up on skiing in recent years? Or was it not so recent when lift tickets already got too expensive? Well, not this year in Wyoming. In fact, all over the Rocky Mountains, even the good hills are not $150 a day. A number of things have come together this year to dial it down.

Resorts want beds full and airlines have added flights to places like Jackson. Besides packages with multiple ski areas, travel site thrillist.com tells ski-trippers, “If you can stretch your trip a day or two, multi-day packages offer more.” In other locations (fortunately mostly outside of the Cowboy State), they’ve seen better seasons for snow depth.

The bottom line of all of this is that makes it cheaper for those flying in, but it also makes it cheaper for us, who have just a drive in from our Wyoming town.

If you take Jackson Hole out of the equation (they’ve come down, but are still $136 a day), a Wyoming average appears closer to $50, according to OnTheSnow.com. And no, the date on that site is not 1900 something. These prices are current:
