Wyoming has the lowest number of babies born in 15 years, according to ABC Fox Montana.

The population in Wyoming took a big hit in 2015 as the states energy industry went down. In 2015, Wyoming residents gave birth to 7,700 babies. In 2018, the Wyoming Department of Health reported that 6,551 babies were born (the lowest amount in 15 years).

While the baby population is decreasing, so is the overall population of Wyoming. Fewer people are moving here and current residents are aging.

How do we fix this problem? Or, do we not fix it and just let the Cowboy State be?
