Wyoming isn't a state known for fine dining, so take your refined palate to the big city.

However if you're looking for hearty meals fit for a cowboy, then come on in.

Our list of the "manliest" Wyoming restaurants took the following assets into consideration:

1. Amount of food per order

2. Amount of meat selections

3. Amount of beer choices

4. Is there a jukebox with George Strait options?

Here's our top 10:

1. Snake River Brewing - Jackson Hole

*I completely stole the idea for this list from the Travel Channel's "Manliest Restaurant" episode. Snake River Brewing made their list, so I had to try it. I'd suggest the Roper - a burger topped with brisket, bacon, and caramelized onions.

2. Miners and Stockman's - Hartville

*What's not to love about the oldest bar in Wyoming? It's a diamond in the rough with amazing steaks. If you're here looking for vegetarian options - there aren't any. Well worth the trip to Hartville, between Wheatland and Torrington.

3. Born In A Barn - Laramie

*Let that name soak in for a minute. If a place called Born In A Barn isn't manly, it's got an identity crisis. Luckily this downtown Laramie gem is on point. Delicious wings, burgers and beer.

4. Cowboy Cafe - Dubois

*Tie your horse or park your pickup out front and come on in to this friendly down-home cafe. Don't let the small building fool you, the portions are huge. Some of the best breakfast or burgers in the west. And top it off with a slice of homemade pie ala mode.

5. T-Joe's Steakhouse & Saloon - Cheyenne

*If you're trucking through I-80, just east of Cheyenne sits a favorite among truck drivers and locals in the know. T-Joe's is straight out of a western movie, and has great steaks and seafood. The steak sandwich is great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, too!

6. Bitter Creek Brewing - Rock Springs

*In the mood for a beer? Or 12? You can watch the brewing process and try it on the spot at this fun Rock Springs eatery. In the mood for a burger? Or 12? When you sit down at Bitter Creek you get two menus, one of them is the "burger only" menu, which boasts around 30 burger options.

7. Winchester Steakhouse - Buffalo

*Thick juicy steaks in a beautiful western setting. Might I suggest beginning your night with some Rocky Moutnain oysters, and sharing surf and turf with your date? Love the porter house and Alaskan king crab!

8. The Ponderosa Cafe - Hulett

*If you haven't dined in the small town of Hulett yet, you're missing out. The Ponderosa not only has manly food, it LOOKS manly. The exterior is straight out of a Western movie. Inside you'll find a collection of cowboy memorabilia and shotguns on the wall. Grab a cold one and a bacon cheeseburger. I've heard their deserts are a good idea, too.

9. Buffalo Jump Saloon and Steakhouse - Wyoming/South Dakota State Line

*This place is about 3 miles from the South Dakota State Line, so Wyoming gets to claim it! A favorite of bikers headed to the Sturgis rally, the Buffalo Jump has a saloon atmosphere with manly food. The BBQ here is perfect, especially the brisket.

10. Bubba's BBQ - Jackson Hole

*A staple in this tourist town. Bubba's features great BBQ in a western atmosphere. My go-to is the pulled pork. Wash it down with one of many Wyoming microbrews on tap.
