Another Cheyenne restaurant is closing. Tasty Bones Barbecue will be going out of business on May 1st after failing to reach a new lease agreement with their landlord.

"Thank you for all the continued support and please come see us before we retire," Tatsy Bones owner Mike Klemm announced on Facebook.

Klemm and his wife Razel launched the barbecue joint and bakery in the Central Plaza Motel on 1719 Central Avenue in downtown Cheyenne in 2016 after operating a food truck for several years. In 2018, they opened a second location on 715 South Greeley Highway, which closed in January.

Tasty Bones was recently named Cheyenne's best barbecue in the Wyoming Tribune Eagle Reader's Choice Awards and has consistently ranked among the best-reviewed restaurants on Google, Facebook, Trip Advisor, and Yelp.
