Want to see some live music before summer ends?

There's a wide and surprising variety of entertainment choices in the area this week, including Henry Rollins in downtown Cheyenne.

On Tuesday, September 18, Static-X play at the Atlas Theatre. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The Uproar Festival hits the Comfort Dental Amphitheatre on Tuesday, September 18, doors open at 4 p.m. On the bill at the former Fiddler's Green, Shinedown, Godsmack, Stain'd, Papa Roach and Adelita's Way.

At Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Wednesday, September 19, it's Train with Mat Kearney and Andy Grammer.

Henry Rollins, singer from Black Flag, will be at the Cheyenne Depot on Thursday, September 20.

On Friday, September 21, at the Cheyenne Civic Center, Peter Cetera, who played with Chicago, will perform at 7:30 p.m.

Two former Grateful Dead members, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, bring their group, Furthur to Red Rocks for three nights, Friday through Sunday, September 21-23.

And Friday and Saturday, September 21 and 22, My Favorite Bands, a Tribute Festival, is in Greeley. Three bands play for free on Friday night 6 until 9 paying tribute to Joe Walsh and Bruce Springsteen and Saturday 11 bands rock Lincoln Park in Greeley from 1 to 10 p.m. Colorado bands will play tributes to Journey, Joan Jett, Blind Melon, Edgar Winter, Grateful Dead, The Band and more. The family friendly event is only $5.
