Cheyenne could be getting a Fuzzy's Taco Shop. Rumor has it, a local franchiser is planning to bring the Fort Worth, Tex. based restaurant chain to the Capital City.

The Mexican cantina is one of the fastest growing food franchises in the country. Founded in 2003, Fuzzy's now has 182 locations in 16 states. Last year, the chain expanded to Colorado, opening several restaurants in the Denver and Colorado Springs area, along with locations in Fort Collins, Greeley, and Windsor.

Along with tacos, Fuzzy's is known for Baja-style fare, salads, sandwiches, seafood, and breakfast served in a casual southwest-themed setting with giant margaritas, beer, and cocktails.

While the Fuzzy's corporation hasn't officially confirmed a Cheyenne location, if the rumors are true, a local franchise could open this summer.
