Bob Seger rocked the Pepsi Center in Denver on Tuesday, April 2, with opening act Joe Walsh. Tonight, April 3, at the Boulder Theater it's 'An Evening With Michael Nesmith.'

Remember Mike Nesmith, always wearing his green stocking cap on The Monkees TV show in the 1960s. He has embarked on a solo tour with bassist Joe Chemay, Paul Leim on drums and Boh Cooper on keyboards.

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds play the Ogden Theatre tonight, April 3, in Denver starting at 8.

In Cheyenne on Friday, April 5, George Ball returns to The Midtown Tavern, also known as Anderson's Other Corner at 1303 East Pershing Boulevard, for a free show beginning at 8 p.m. The local musician will be stopping our downtown KING studio and you never know who he'll bring with him or what instruments he'll be playing, tune in Friday to find out.

At Sanford's Pub and Grub, 115 East 17th Street, on Friday Will Rogers entertains from 7 until 10 with no cover charge.

The Crown Bar, on the corner of Carey and Lincolnway downtown, has Bobby Phillips performing at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 5, and Steel March take the 'stage' at 9:30 p.m.

If you are a fan of bluegrass music, check out The BlueGrass Hootenanny at the Terry Bison Ranch, south of Cheyenne off I-25, on Saturday, April 6, at 5 p.m. Headliners for the show are The HillBenders out of Springfield, Missouri. They played last year in Casper at their annual Bear Trap Festival and plan to return again this Summer. Also appearing at The BlueGrass Hootenanny are the northern Colorado band Blue Grama and opening the show will be the local favorites BeatGrass. Tickets are $15 in advance and $17 on the day of the show and are available at Ernie November in downtown Cheyenne
