Ready for a full week of great shows in our area?

The KING Concert Calendar is really filling up this first week of June 2013.

Tonight Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson bring their Masters of Madness Tour to Red Rocks. Showtime is 7 p.m. and the doors open at 6.On Tuesday, June 4, be part of the jam session with Jimmy McGuire at The Midtown Tavern 6 until 10 p.m. The first Tuesday of each month, the singer from Second Opinion brings in some instruments and you can bring yours to perform on stage. All musicians get $1 beers. The Midtown Tavern, also known at Anderson's Other Corner, is at 1303 East Pershing.

Wednesday, June 5, Sting brings his 'Back To Bass Tour' to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.

Thursday, June 6, at the Forum 619 on South Greeley Highway, 5 metal bands are scheduled for only $8 starting at 8 p.m. See So This is Suffering, Face Your Maker, Isle of Patmos, It's Always Sunny Tijuana and IAMTHESHOTGUN. Doors open at 7 p.m. for this all ages show at the GI Forum, 619 South Greeley Highway.

Friday, June 7, Second Opinion perform at The Midtown Tavern beginning at 8 p.m. There's no cover charge at the venue also known as Anderson's Other Corner, 1303 E. Pershing Blvd. We're hoping to get a preview of the party here in the KING studio on Friday afternoon with Second Opinion.

Fridays on the Plaza kick off on June 7 with Boogie Machine playing for free between 5:30 and 8 p.m. at the Depot Plaza in downtown Cheyenne. Beer, food and drinks will be available for purchase.

They Might Be Giants bring their show to the Ogden Theatre in Denver on Friday, June 7, starting at 9 p.m. Doors open at 8.

Saturday, June 8, the Greeley Blues Jam hits Island Grove Regional Park with John Mayall, J.J. Grey and Mofro, David Booker, the Kris Lager Band and many more. The Blues Jam gets underway at 11:15 a.m. and tickets are $25 in advance, $30 the day of the show.

Big Head Todd & The Monsters will be playing their 'Sister Sweetly' album at Red Rocks on Saturday, June 8, starting at 7 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m.

The Psychedelic Furs are at the Gothic Theatre in Denver on Saturday, June 8, beginning at 9 p.m., doors open at 8.

Dead Floyd are in Boulder on Saturday, June 8, playing the music of Pink Floyd and the Grateful Dead combined at the Fox Theatre. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 on the day of the show.

And Lou Gramm of Foreigner brings his solo tour to The Soiled Dove in Denver on Saturday, June 8.
