There's plenty of live shows to reward yourself with at the end of this week.

After all the hustle and bustle of Christmas is over, get rejuvenated by dancing to The Wailers in Boulder. The former backup band to Bob Marley is playing at the Fox Theatre on Friday, December 28.

Also on Friday, a lot of talent takes to stages around Cheyenne. Pepie entertains from 7 until 10 at Sanford's Pub and Grub downtown, 115 East 17th Street.

The Drunken Skunk, 1617 Capitol Avenue, has Stone Cell starting at 9 p.m. with no cover charge on Friday.

The American Legion Post 6, 2001 East Lincolnway, presents Craig 'Buffalo Chip' McCune from 7 to 10 on December 28.

Peggy Maynard is at The Midtown Tavern, formerly Anderson's Other Corner at 1303 East Pershing Boulevard, for a free show on Friday beginning at 8 p.m.

In Denver on Friday night, see Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue at the Ogden Theatre at 9 p.m. Tickets are $30.

Finish off 2012 spending an Evening with the String Cheese Incident. The Colorado band plays at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield on December 29, 30 and 31. Doors open at 6:30 and the shows start at 7:30 each night.
