Rural Cheyenne Schools Closing Early, Activities Canceled

Laramie County School District#1 has announced the early closure of the district's three rural elementary schools due to the severe snowstorm which has rocked the area.

Clawson, Willadsen and Gilchrist schools are all scheduled to close at 12:15 p.m., according to district spokeswoman Mary Quast.

In addition to the early closures, Quast says all LCSD#1 after school activities and athletic events have been canceled for today (May18).
