The irony is not lost that our ski areas just got some of the deepest snowfall of the season and the skiing is either over or about to be done for the season. It’s a sure sign of the end of winter: the closing of Wyoming’s ski resorts. When the last snowfalls of the season come with their heavy wet payload, it’s time to get in those last runs and maybe skim across the pond on the last day until next season.
Inspired by a report on KGWN, here are the resorts that are closing and those who already have shut down their lifts. There were some great times for skiers, boarders, tubers and their families as they discovered the excitement of Wyoming in winter. As we come up on April, you may want to make plans for your last runs….. until next year.
