Website Honors Wyoming’s Best Actor
The popular travel and entertainment website Thrillist recently published a list ranking "The Best Actor From Every State".
And the winner is...
Matthew Fox. The Party of Five and Lost star moved to Crowheart, Wyoming, as an infant. His mother worked as a school teacher on the Wind River Reservation while his dad raised cattle and grew barley.
At 25, Fox got his first big break in Hollywood, landing a guest role on the NBC sitcom Wings. Two years later, he was cast in the hit Fox show Party of Five, where he played the role of Chalie Salinger for seven seasons.
In 2004, he joined the cast of the ABC drama Lost, portraying Jack Shephard in over 120 episodes.
Fox has also starred in several movies over the years, including Smokin' Aces, We Are Marshall, World War Z and Bone Tomahawk.
The Thrillist article also praised Hanna, Wyoming, native Jesse Garcia, who earned critical acclaim for his work in the Netflix originial From Dusk 'Til Dawn: The Series.
