Wyoming Restaurant Serves Python, Kangaroo, and Ostrich

Wyoming is known for wild game, but there's one restaurant in Gillette where the meat is really rare. Pokey's BBQ and Smokehouse was once named the best barbecue joint in the Cowboy State, but their real claim to fame is the "Wild Thang" menu.

Along with traditional meats like pork, chicken, and brisket, Pokey's also serves python, ostrich, alligator tail, and wild boar.

What exactly does python taste like? According to the menu, it's a dish "you can really wrap yourself around".  One Yelp reviewer described the deep fried serpent as "chewier than calamari".

Although not on the regular menu, Pokey's had also served camel, bear, and mountain lion.
