Get ready to soak up the sun and soak down some suds, at this year’s Wyoming Brewer’s Festival at Cheyenne Depot THIS Friday and Saturday, June 20th and 21st.

Midas Tire and Auto Service of Cheyenne are head sponsoring this year’s event and Nick “The Midas Guy,” and the “Car Guy" on AM 6-50 KGAB is thrilled that this year’s event is back at the depot, saying “having this event back at Cheyenne Depot is the reason why Midas Tire and Auto Services are involved in this event, it’s a great venue, and the money raised goes to benefit the depot, so I couldn’t think of a better place to have this event.”

Several brewers from all around the region as well as Wyoming will be participating in this year’s event.  Dave Herring from this year’s Brewer’s Fest, said there’ll be anywhere from 80 to 95 home crafted beers for people to sample!  Wyoming Brewer’s Festival runs from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. both THIS Friday and Saturday.  Dave Herring from the event explains the cost of tickets for this year’s event.

We’re going back to our old format that we’ve done a few years ago, Friday is $40 per person or $70 per couple, and you’ll can sample all the beer you want, and then Saturday, it’s $20 at the door, and you’ll get 5 tokens, and then you can buy extra tokens for $1.50 each.”

Nick said that Friday will be extra special because “all the brewers will be there, so you’ll be able to talk to these guys, ‘hey what’s in this? What do you do with that?’  if you’re interested in all the flavors these guys produce, and this is a great opportunity, especially Friday night because you get to taste all of those brews.”

There’s also an added bonus to Friday’s event, because it’s also Friday’s on the Plaza, so you’ll also have live music Friday night, which will make this event even more fun.  There’s also some great food vendors at this year’s event, so you can buy something tasty to eat from Leonard’s Hot Dogs, Kabob King, Mitchell’s Barbecue, Jackson’s All American Sports Grill and Bella Fuoco Pizza, and wash it down with some ice cold crafted beers.

You can get your tickets at Midas Tire and Auto Centers in Cheyenne, Speedy Lube of Cheyenne, Mort’s Bagels or you can get them at the door. Get all the details about this year’s Wyoming Brewer’s Festival.

ALERT:  The Wyoming Brewer’s Festival still needs volunteers to help serve at this year’s event.  You’re not able to drink while serving, but  If you’re interested, you can email Shannon from the volunteer committee at Shannon@wyobrewfest.com.
