Celebrities from Every Single County in Wyoming
The land of Wyoming is spectacular, but it is the people who make it great. The farmers, the roughnecks, the miners they all leave their mark on the state. We wanted to find the people with the biggest impact from each county in Wyoming.
What do we consider to be a celebrity? Ideally, we wanted that person to have an impact on the country or the world in film, art, business, or politics. People who were just famous in Wyoming are less likely to be on the list. For example, a local politician or athlete that was only big in Wyoming were less likely to make the list.
The person could have lived, been born, or established themselves here. For Example, Dick Cheney was born in Nebraska, but his road to the White House started in Wyoming. Then there are people like Jackson Pollock who were born in the state, but they became famous elsewhere.
