I've been feeling really run down this past week. At first I thought it was the flu, again, but yesterday I woke up to a swollen jaw and realized it's not the flu, it's a tooth, which means I have to find a dentist...EEEK!
We took a break after the holidays, but now I’m proud to let you know that Alf, Kevin, Suwannee, Kay, Bobby, Susie and, of course, 106-3 Cowboy Country are once again teaming up for another Thankful Thursday at the Redwood Lounge on East Lincolnway THIS THURSDAY!
Ever quit your job in a rather unethical, or irrational way? Well this Superbowl Sunday, you're about to see a woman actually quit her job LIVE in front of millions of viewers, including her boss, in a Go Daddy Superbowl ad!
As we near the upcoming “Big Game,” I would imagine that most of us will be watching our Broncos beat the crap out of the Seattle Seahawks, and of course, we’ll also have the benefit of watching all the Superbowl commercials that go along with the game. However there are some out there who are just watching this year’s Superbowl JUST for the commercials, and there of them than you might think!
Remember back in the day when scented candles were usually apple-cinnamon, lavender, or maybe cherry blossom? Now you have your choice of candles that smell like beer, some smell like bacon, and now you could very well get a candle that smells like your salad, or at least the ranch dressing that you put on it.
Today is National Pie Day, and to celebrate, Shari's restaurant is giving away a slice of their All-American apple pie from now through 10 p.m., with every dinner that you purchase.
If you don't know by now, Shari's has some of the best pies you can sink your teeth into, and their All American Apple Pie is among that list! I can't think of a better way to celebrate National Pie Day than to top off one of your delicious meals at Shari's, with a FREE slice
This past Sunday, we saw a couple of amazing things, some of us saw the AFC Championship game that put the Denver Broncos into the Superbowl after defeating the New England Patriots. Then there was the NFC game, where not only did the Seahawks became Superbowl bound after winning over the 49'ers, and not only seeing Seahawks' cornerback Richard Sherman go into a rant over San Francisco's Michael Crabtree, but rocker Ann Wilson from the rock group Heart belted out the National Anthem with all of her heart, but was it good or bad?
In case you didn't know, this Monday is a holiday, Martin Luther King Holiday, that means many state and federal offices will be closed. It also means you're scheduled trash pick up might be moved to a different day!
Lets face it, when it comes to our animals, we tend to spoil them from time to time. I’m guilty of this every time I go to the store and end up with another cat nip toy that my cats will eventually loose under the couch that I’ll find 6 months later. But when it comes to giving your pets human food as a treat, you might want to think twice about what you’re giving them because these little “human food treats” could be very dangerous for your pet!
